Our newbies raced

We entered the CDBA Sprint Race because
we wanted to give our newbies a chance to race.
Over the past year, DieselFish has experienced a recruitment boom.
Our new members—the newbies—have been diligently learning and practicing with us. We felt it was time to give them a chance to spread their wings and race.
When the big day finally arrived, the newbies loaded into the boat. They waited for the starter’s horn. Then, they NAILED IT.
They reached and rotated. They kept their cool. They remembered their training.
The newbies trained hard, and it showed.
We are proud to call them teammates. It was our pleasure to help them take their first steps in their dragon boat journeys.
We can’t wait to see what they’ll accomplish
next.
