Best moments of 2014:
* Our killer workouts. The team’s uniforms got tighter in
all the right places.
* Our newest recruits. The rookies did great! We’re thrilled that Rachel,Michelle,Jen and Alfred joined up and proud that we provided them with the support they needed to have such successful first seasons.

What does a former kickboxer do when she needs a new
challenge?
You never forget
your first dragon boat race with DieselFish! Michelle just rocked her first
race at Treasure Island in San Francisco. Here’s what she had to say about it!
DieselFish:
This is Michelle. She just finished her first dragon boat race with DieselFish!
How do you feel, Michelle?
Michelle: I
feel really great! I have such an adrenaline rush right now. The water was all
in my hair, [my hair’s] still wet from all the water splashing in my face, and
my heart’s still racing. But I had so much fun!
DieselFish:
Why did you join DieselFish?
Michelle: I
missed being part of a team, so I was looking around and I felt this is the
best fit, and the team looked like it was so much fun. Everything that it’s
doing that I saw online was really great.
DieselFish:
You mentioned that you missed the team experience. What other team sports have
you done in the past?
Michelle: Track
and field, and in college I was in volleyball, and I use to kickbox a lot. I’m
into a lot of sports, so this is just something that pulls everything together
— you can be active, you can do sports, you can meet a lot of people, and find
really great competition. It’s like having another family with you. So that’s
why.
DieselFish: That’s
great! Now what are your hopes for the season? What do you want to accomplish?
Michelle: I
want to keep getting better at the sport and to continue practicing, going to
all the practices, and being a contributor to the team!
DieselFish:
Thank you, Michelle! Have a great season!
Michelle:
Thank you!
