DieselFish loves spending time
outdoors. When we’re not paddling around Redwood City in our dragon boats, you
can find us hiking along the Bay Area’s many trails. Last Saturday, we went for
a team hike at Edgewood Park and Natural Preserve.
We got a cardio-pumping workout as we hiked through the park.
Together, we trekked up steep hills, leaped over squishy mudholes, and scrambled
around massive boulders.
Every step of the way, we took in nature’s beauty. The park
was covered with a thick carpet of wild grasses. Massive oak trees wrapped in
vines studded the landscape. The air smelled fresh and clean, thanks to a storm
system that recently swept through the area. When we reached the top of the
trail, we were treated with a panoramic view of the San Francisco Bay and the
Santa Cruz Mountains.
Everybody enjoyed the hike. It provided us with a chance to
spend more time together and get in a decent workout—outdoors.
